You know it's bad when they've lost Rosie O'Donnell. In a video posted to TikTok, the liberal comedian skewered the Biden administration's response to the East Palestine train derailment, which she called "a tragedy of epic proportion." (Source: http://bit.ly/3m42C3q)

Specifically, O'Donnell, an unenthusiastic Biden supporter, targeted the Environmental Protection Agency over what she believes has been an apathetic response. "I've been reading all the news about this horrible train derailment and chemical spill — toxic poisoning — in Ohio. Fish dying, chickens dying and animals getting sick, and people getting sick, and then the EPA comes out with a very non-alarmist 'Everything's OK; don't worry about a thing' statement, and it's infuriating," she said. Do you agree with O'Donnell that the EPA's indifference to the toxic spill is concerning?

O'Donnell said she does not trust the EPA, especially after 9/11. Infamously, the EPA declared Ground Zero was safe, free of health hazards. That, however, tragically turned out false. More people, in fact, have died from cancer and medical problems related to the attacks and their hazardous aftermath than from the attacks themselves. "They lied to the American people. I don't believe the EPA," O'Donnell said again. Do you remember the EPA claiming that ground zero was safe after the 9/11 attacks - before people were dying in droves from cancer and other issues tied to the aftermath of the attacks?

"This is a tragedy of epic proportion, and it's criminal negligence by that chemical and train company," O'Donnell said. "And nothing's being done about it. It's not on the news enough. It's not something that people are talking about. It's like being pushed to the back burner." Does it surprise you that there is not a lot of talk about the spill in East Palestine - in which a train of 150 train cars, some of which were carrying toxic chemicals, spilled and leaked vinyl chloride - a known substance to cause liver cancer - into the ground and air?

Some have said the usual big names among the environmental issues are oddly silent about this tremendous spill in the small town of East Palestine. Others have mentioned that since the small town of 5000 or so residents boasts around 70-80% conservative voters, the outcry is not nearly what it should be, especially from the left. Do you agree that it is strange that a toxic spill of this size - in this small town - is unmentioned by the usual environmental "celebrities" (that are often Democrats and/or left-leaning politically)?
