Bernie Sanders, 2020 Presidential candidate and vociferous proponent of the $15/hour minimum wage, experienced some criticism recently – it was discovered that not all of his staff were making that $15 an hour wage. They weren't happy about it and Bernie wasn't happy that the news media had found out about it. It is also being reported that to pay some of his staff the $15, others may need to be laid off or have their hours reduced. Job opportunities may also be limited. Recent critics of the $15/hour minimum wage have been warning of these potential consequences all along.

Even more recently, Rashida Tlaib, outspoken Democratic US Rep from Michigan and member of the "squad," announced she is pushing for the federal minimum wage to be raised to $20 an hour, that $15 isn't enough. After hearing that Bernie is already having issues with his $15/hour minimum wage proposal, do you think Tlaib's proposal sounds like a good idea or is it too extreme to consider at this time?
