Results: Tellwut Top Picks: Do you think there should be term limits on the Supreme Court?
Published on 05/24/2022
According to a YouGov poll, more than half of Americans (58%) support establishing term limits for the Supreme Court, while only 21% oppose doing so. In the U.S., the Constitution states that Justices "shall hold their Offices during good Behaviour." This means that the Justices hold office as long as they choose and can only be removed from office by impeachment. In Canada, a Judge holds office during good behaviour, until he or she retires or attains the age of 75 years, but is removable for incapacity or misconduct in office before that time by the Governor General on address of the Senate and House of Commons.
