Samuel Langhorne Clemens, known by his pen name Mark Twain, died at his home, Stormfield, in Redding, Connecticut in April 1910, at the age of 74 of a heart attack. Mark Twain recognized his daughter, and spoke to her. Feeling unequal to the conversation, he wrote with a pencil 'Give me my glasses.' These were his last words. . . . .
