2. The Oscar-winning "From Here to Eternity" featured what has been called, "The most famous beach scene in the movies". The 1953 film about US Army soldiers stationed in Hawaii in the months preceding the attack on Pearl Harbor included this risque scene, despite the strict censorship of the era.
