2. The Oscar-winning "From Here to Eternity" featured what has been called, "The most famous beach scene in the movies". The 1953 film about US Army soldiers stationed in Hawaii in the months preceding the attack on Pearl Harbor included this risque scene, despite the strict censorship of the era. The original script called for the adulterous lovers to kiss standing up; but actor Burt Lancaster suggested he and Deborah Kerr kiss lying in the surf. What do you think?
