1. If we could time travel to around the time officers were acquitted for excessive force against Rodney King, do you think the same people that agreed with that verdict would be defending ICE in the murder of Renee Nicole Good now?

2. If we could time travel to around the time the video footage was released showing Derek Chauvin murdering George Floyd, do you think the people that defended Derek Chauvin then would be defending ICE in the murder of Renee Nicole Good now?

If we could time travel to Germany, 1933, we would observe the German government initiating "Schutzhaft", a policy that simply demanded compliance with German officers and allowed officers to arrest people without trial for their "own protection". Arrested people were frequently beaten, sometimes to death, by groups of officers. Supporters of the 1933 German government often defended those murders stating the officers were "provoked" and the victims failed to comply with arrest. If those supporters of 1933 German "Schutzhaft" could time travel to present day as US citizens, would they be defending ICE for the murder of Renee Nicole Good now?
