Excalibur - is the name of Arthur's sword and title of a 1981 movie directed by John Boorman. It's based on Le Morte d'Arthur by Sir Thomas Malory collecting tales of Arthur and those associated with him. Fave film version of mine as walks a line between gritty realistic and fantasy / knights in shining armor. Do you find evil hides where you never expect it as Merlin states?

Knightriders - knights on motorcycles? That's the premise of this 1981 flick by George Romero (better known for his Living Dead series). Stars Ed Harris as the leader of a traveling troupe who joust on motorcycles. He tries to pattern their lives on Arthurian ideals, but modern realities and personal conflicts pose a problem. Ever seen actual jousting?
