As I continue with my series, I want to make note that it is impossible to include all the information on a writer, so I try to find a few key points and go from there. Also, to those complaining about my grammar this is a 'fun' survey and not a novel on the best-sellers list. If it bothers you so much just skip my survey.
1. Louisa May Alcott was born on November 29, 1832, in Germantown, Pennsylvania to Abigail May and Amos Branson Alcott, and died aged 55 on March 6, 1888, in Boston, Massachusetts, coincidentally two days after her father passed. She was an abolitionist and a feminist and never married. During the last eight years of her life, she raised the daughter of her deceased sister. Have you ever heard of writer Louisa May Alcott?

2. Perhaps her most well-known work is "Little Women", which is loosely based on her childhood experiences with her three sisters. It was adapted into movie form and is often shown around this time of year. No spoilers here if you have never read it before, but it is a quaint classic that you should check out if you never did. Are you familiar with the story "Little Women"?

3. The Alcott family experienced financial hardship so Louisa had many jobs over her lifetime such as a nurse, a teacher, seamstress, governess, domestic helper, and laundress, and of course writing, among other jobs. I find this incredibly relatable even in this day and age. Did you ever have to take multiple jobs to support your family?
