1. What would a survey series about writers be without the great William Shakespeare. He was born on April 23, 1564, in Stratford-Upon-Avon, Warwickshire, England and died April 23, 1616, at the same place. There's really so much information on Shakespeare that I don't even know where to begin. Over the course of his life his works included 39 plays, 154 sonnets, three narrative poems and a few other verses. His plays have been translated into every major language and are performed more than any other playwright. When he was 18 years old, he married then 26-year-old Anne Hathaway they had three children together Susanna, and twins Hamnet and Judith. Shakespeare wasn't only a writer, but also an actor, in fact, he acted in his own plays. Did you ever read works by William Shakespeare?

2. One of my favorite works of literature is found in Shakespeare's play "As you like it" and the piece is titled "All the world's a stage". Where life is compared to a play, illustrating that people go through seven stages like actors playing different roles. Suggesting that people play different parts throughout their life from infancy to old age, and that life is a series of performances with each person having their own role to play. Do you think we all play different roles in life?

3. Do you have a favorite work of literature? (Explain below)
