Results: Farmers' Almanac says it will cease publication after 208 years

The Farmers’ Almanac, a 208-year-old publication long trusted by farmers and gardeners for weather predictions, will release its final edition in 2026. The Maine-based magazine, first printed in 1818, cited rising production costs and today’s “chaotic media environment” as reasons for ending both its print and online versions. Known for its long-range forecasts based on a secret formula of sunspots, planetary positions, and lunar cycles, the Almanac also featured gardening tips, trivia, and natural remedies.
