My favorite of his movies is the dark comedy Arsenic and Old Lace. His first movie was in 1932 and his last was in 1966 Walk, Don't Run with Audrey Hepburn. He retired from acting to raise his newborn daughter. Which have you seen and which is your fav?

1938 Bringing Up Baby with Katherine Hepburn. Grant plays an Indiana Jones type character (paleontology professor) who is looking for a large donation for his research from a wealthy dowager (got her money from her dead husband). Hepburn plays kind of a foil to him getting the money. Have you seen it? Did you like it? I've never actually seen this myself.
Seen it. Love it.

1944. Arsenic and Old Lace. I absolutely love this fast paced, fast talking comedy. Grant plays Mortimer who having just got married goes to see his 2 beloved Aunts to tell them of the news. As he is waiting for a cab to go on his honeymoon, he discovers that his aunts have been poisoning and burying vagrant men who stay at their home for years with the help of their mentally ill brother who thinks he is President Roosevelt. Apparently this is Cary Grants least favorite film. Did you see it? Did you love it?
Seen it. It is a classic.

1955. To Catch A Thief co starring the stunning beautiful Grace Kelly. Grant plays a retired cat burglar trying to find a copycat burglar who is pinning the crimes on him. Apparently Grant had retired from movies in 1953 saying that people didn't want to see actors like him anymore after Marlon Brando became big. He also was angry about how Charlie Chaplan was treated by the Truman's HUAC. He came back for this movie. This is the first movie I remember seeing a scene where when the 2 actors start kissing, they cut away to fireworks instead of showing anything to passionate. Have you seen it? Did you love it as much as me?
Seen it. Absolutely it is a classic.

1959 North by Northwest, directed by Alfred Hitchcock and co starring Eve Marie Saint, who was in shows like Buck Roges, On the Waterfront and played Martha Kent in Superman Returns. I've seen this once but don't have vivid memories except of course the famous scene in the field when a plane is chasing Grants character. Recreated in an episode of The Simpsons where Marge is trying to get rid of her fear of flying. Have you seen it? Do you think its a must see?
Seen it. Classic.
