Results: Survey 3 (The Final One) on impressions.

In the 2 previous surveys the assumption was that we had the opportunity to spend some casual time with a famous person or on the contrary we would choose not to spend time with them. In the 1990s there were several times I ran seminars at The Marquette Hotel in Minneapolis and this hotel was popular with politicians who were newsworthy at that time. These famous guests during the various times I was there included Bill Clinton, Mikhail Gorbachev, and Newt Gingrich. The first 2 were isolated by security personnel but Newt was very accessible, especially on the evening a storm knocked out power and Newt "held court" in the hotel bar. Circumstances brought us together more than choice. Which of the following famous people would you find interesting to meet if the power went out (whether or not you actually liked the person)? By the way, Newt was Speaker of the House at the time and lived up to the title.

Another guest in the hotel at a time when I wasn't there was The Dalai Lama. I don't think he would have enjoyed a drink from the bar the way some of the other famous people did but if the leader of one of the world's major religions was staying at the same hotel as you, who would you be most interested in meeting?
