There's an episode of The Golden Girls where Betty White's senior character has a conversation about the show Miami Vice with a young cop. Both are fans of what was considered a popular television show from that time period. Have you ever watched The Golden Girls and/or Miami Vice?

The scene is short, but it got me thinking about how entertainment can reach audiences young and old. Some are completely open to new music and programs, while others prefer to stick with what they are used to. How about you?

When I was younger, I was a big fan of old Hollywood and found common ground with seniors talking about classic films. Today, many young people online are looking back to previous decades for inspiration in music, films, and fashion. Now that I'm older, I find it heartwarming that they are discovering media that I myself adored at their age. How do you feel when younger people gravitate toward entertainment you liked in the past?

Going back to my first question, did you know The Golden Girls was referred to as "Miami Nice?"
