Results: It's the middle of winter in a pandemic and we are probably spending far more time indoors than in a normal winter. There are many things we could to to keep physically active but what about keeping mentally active?
How to we keep mentally and intellectually fit in a pandemic in winter and most likely in the middle of government imposed lock downs? Some of us are avid readers and some are not. Some have signed up to study online but that doesn't work for everyone. Here are 3 quick mental stretch exercises that will keep you occupied for awhile and if you enjoy them I can give you 3 more.

Here are the answers in random order - no peeking! This is a puzzle that also works for a Superbowl hotel room where 3 guys have booked online at the last minute for $300 or $100 each. When they get to the room they find it is in bad shape and one of them goes to the front desk to complain. The manager appoligises and gives the guy $50 in 5 @ $10 bills as a discount. On the way back to the room the guy decides to tell his buddies they each got $10 off and keep the $20 for himself. So they each paid $90 or $270 in total plus the $20 the one guy kept - that's $290. There is $10 missing. Who got it? I have no idea how this works and am trying to figure out how to make money from it.

Yes. Before he spins, there's a one in six chance of a bullet being fired. After he spins, one of those chances has been taken away, leaving a one in five chance and making it more likely a bullet will be fired. Best to spin again.
