Results: How Fetch! Mean Girls, The Musical Coming To Theatres!

First it was Mean Girls, the movie. Then Mean Girls, the Broadway musical. Now, full circle, Mean Girls, the musical is set to hit theatres January 12, 2024. Mean Girls became a classic, spawning such memorable lines as "She doesn't even go here", "I'm a cool mom", "That's so fetch", "Stop trying to make fetch happen", "Sometimes older people make jokes", "That's why her hair is so big. It's full of secrets", "Irregardless! Ex-boyfriends are just off limits to friends. I mean, that's just like, the rules of feminism" and, of course, "On Wednesdays we wear pink"! Have you seen the 2004 movie Mean Girls?

The musical Mean Girls will star some familiar faces, and bring back some favourites from the original movie. Tina Fey, who created and wrote Mean Girls, and adapted it as a musical, returns, as well as Tim Meadows, who played principal Mr. Duvall. Jon Hamm (Mad Men), Busy Philips (Girls5Eva) and Jenna Fischer (The Office) will also be in the movie. As far as the students, many who starred in the Broadway musical have been cast in the film. Almost two decades after the film's release, fans still celebrated the day by posting Mean Girls memes, wearing pink, and of course, watching the film. In fact, October 3rd, 2017 was the first day of ticket sales for the Mean Girls Broadway musical, and Fey (who wrote the book for the musical) even got in on the celebrating, handing out free cheese fries to people waiting in line to buy tickets.
