If you have seen the movie Rocky, starring Sylvester Stallone, you have to remember the beautifully shot sequence of Rocky's run through Philadelphia that famously culminated in his ascent up the steps of the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Rocky's motivational training montage has come to be known in popular culture as a powerful metaphor in which the underdog rises to a challenge. Those famous steps, known as the 'Rocky Steps' have become one of the most famous tourist attractions in Philadelphia, rivaling the Liberty Bell, with most visitors recreating that famous scene. Have you ever visited Philadelphia, and did you attempt to run up those 72 stone steps "Rocky style" (I certainly did on my visit)?

If The Sound Of Music is one of your favorite movies, Salzburg, Vienna should be on your bucket list. While there you can go on a Sound Of Music tour, which takes you to visit all the famous movie locales. You can visit Mirabell Gardens and the Pegasus Fountain (the dance scene with Maria and the children), Schloss Leopoldskron (the house where the family lived), Hellbrunn palace (singing scenes), Nonnberg Convent (where the young Maria was a novice), St. Gilgen / Wolfgangsee (opening scene of the movie) and the Mondsee Basilica (wedding scene) plus many more. Would this tour interest you?

Filmed in just 28 days for an extremely small budget, the 1994 independent film, Clerks, by Kevin Smith, was shot almost entirely in a location Smith was very familiar with -- Clerks takes place at the Quick Stop in Leonardo, New Jersey. At the time Smith had a job working at…the Quick Stop in Leonardo, New Jersey. Yes, Smith shot the film where he worked at the time. In fact, he worked his 6 am to 11 pm shift, and shot the film at the store after closing. If you've seen the movie, you know how the convenience store is a major "character" in the film. Have you ever visited the Clerks' convenience store in N.J.?

When Eat, Pray, Love came out, millions of women read the book, saw the movie and were inspired to create their own "Eat, Pray, Love" experience. They traveled to Italy to eat pasta and find "Luca Spaghetti." They went to India to meditate and find peace. They flew off to Bali in hopes of finding clarity and love. But that was not the only book (movie) to inspire travel. Did you see any of these movies, and research going on a trip to its location?
