Results: What the Dickens?

My favorite and my vote for the best past, present and future scenarios is Scrooged. The Jacob Marley character in this was the most scary. I better understood how he was a slime ball in his life. The taxi cab driver is the absolute best and whats better to turn a man around then a memory of his mother. Carol Cane as the ghost of Christmas present of course and the end cremation scene is truly life changing for Frank Cross. Does Scrooged get your vote?

Who doesn't have fond memories of Mickeys A Christmas Carol? The death of Tiny Tim still hits me to this day. Bad Pete makes a great Ghost of Christmas yet to come. I often wondered if the cigar smoking Anthropomorphic cat was an inspiration for the cab drive in Scrooged. Does Disney tell the best Dickens tale?

Probably the one after Mickeys A Christmas Carol that people know best is A Christmas Carol (1951) starring Alastair Sim. Maybe this one is closer to the original story and that makes it the best. Does this one get your vote?

Another one that the is hard to get away from at this time of year is one loosely based on the 1843 Charles Dickens novella It's A Wonderful Life starring the great Jimmy Stewart. George Bailey comes to realize how many people he affected in his life and what a great life he actually had. Does this tell the best redemption story?
