Smile 2 is the sequel to Smile, which came out in 2022. "About to embark on a new world tour, global pop sensation Skye Riley (Naomi Scott) begins experiencing increasingly terrifying and inexplicable events." I watched this last week and it was pretty scary, and disturbing. It felt like once it got scary, it never stopped and half the time I had my hands over my eyes! Overall, I still enjoyed it but if you don't like a lot of horror or scary things, this is not for you! Have you seen it?

The Substance wasn't scary like Smile 2, but was definitely disturbing. If you have seen this one, you know what I mean! The premise is: Elisabeth Sparkle, renowned for an aerobics show, faces a devastating blow on her 50th birthday as her boss fires her. Amid her distress, a laboratory offers her a substance which promises to transform her into an enhanced version of herself. Demi Moore and Margaret Qualley star in it and it's a pretty interesting film, the ending is wild. Are you interested in seeing it?

Y2K is a horror comedy that I was really looking forward to. The premise is: On the last night of 1999, two high school juniors crash a New Year's Eve party, only to find themselves fighting for their lives when the terror of Y2K becomes a reality and all machines rise up against humanity. It's not really horror, more science fiction. Unfortunately for me, I thought it wasn't as good as I was hoping. But overall, still a fun movie. Do you think we will ever see machines fight back against humanity?

This one really isn't horror but I had to include it. I watched The Nightmare Before Christmas on Christmas Eve, which was exciting for me as I used to watch it as a kid all the time. My husband had never seen it, but as he doesn't like musicals or Tim Burton, it was a miss for him. If you don't know this movie, Jack Skellington, king of Halloween Town, discovers Christmas Town, but his attempts to bring Christmas to his home causes confusion. If you've seen it, do you consider it to be a Halloween movie or a Christmas movie?
