The current crop of Hollywood movies does not interest me. Most seem to be regurged from previous versions and are mostly special effects, highly predictable plot lines, and unconvincing dialogue. They could easily be churned out using AI. There are some movies from the 1960's, onward that are not from Hollywood or, if the are, they got it right this time. Here are some favorites for each decade you may have missed or might want to watch again (and again). Please suggest some of your own.

The 1950s movies weren't memorable. My buddies and I had found a way to sneak into one of our movie theaters to watch mostly horror movies such as "House of Wax" and "The Mummy". Strictly B movie stuff. By the 1960s however, the movies were the place to go with a girlfriend and this required a different type of movie. These movies were funny or action packed or something else other than "B Grade." Some that I saw in the 1960s, I have seen again and again since then. Here are a few from the 1960s and subsequent decades. Which of them have you liked enough to want to see them again? (Suggest some from this century.)

The Beatles first movie "A Hard Day's Night" which I saw 3 times in one day when it first came out. Honorable mention to the 2nd Beatles movie called "Help"
