I love parody movies. It started with the movie Airplane! Lately they haven't been as good. Just kind of thrown together, choosing scenes from a number of movies with no real thought into the comedy. Which of these parody movies have you seen?

According to Wikipedia the first parody movie was called The Little Train Robbery in 1905 which was parody of The Great Train Robbery movie from, 1903 but starring all little kids. Have you heard of this movie?

Spaceballs. Mel Brooks was given permission by George Lucas to do the parody after reading the script and thinking it was funny. The only stipulation being that there was no merchandise sold form the parody. Have you seen this Mel Brooks classic?

This is one of my favorites. Scary Movie. A super funny parody of Scream with some other horror movies mixed in as well. Scary Movie 2 was even better in my opinion. After the Wayans brothers were forced out by the Weinstein Company the rest were not as good. Have you seen any of the Scary Movie movies?
