Escape From Tomorrow is a 2013 debut movie written and directed by Randy Moore. It takes place in the Walt Disney World resort. There was just one problem. Disney doesn't allow such filming in their parks. How was this pulled off, and what does the film have to explore about such places?

The tale - Involves a family on vacation at Disney World. When the father gets a call he's been fired for unknown reasons, his visit becomes a surreal experience of creepy visions and odd meetings. Just out of curiosity, have you visited any Disney theme park, regardless the locale?

Loophole - As mentioned, Disney does not allow theatrical / TV filming in their parks beyond their own company. However, guests certainly able to take pictures or video. Present yourself as such and no problems. This is what the filmmakers did. Paid entry, small groups, filmed scenes and background with no one the wiser. Here are a couple other examples along with the film in question. Have you ever done something not allowed, but technically not illegal?

Sorry Walt - The Disney corporation not happy puppies when they found out of course, but little they could do. No actual laws broken. Crew paid to get in, filmed, didn't disturb anyone. Raising a stink would have drawn more attention, publicity. So what's your take, illegal?

The point - As one can tell from the clips, unusual film, maybe not for all. I find varies themes going on. Mid life crisis, keeping things hidden from family. Difference experience at a place as an adult you recall from childhood. The surreal feeling such places can have, all happy, but what's behind the curtain? What indeed in this case. Have you ever been somewhere you just didn't feel the vibe that was presented?
