The NFB is a Canadian public film and other media producer and distributer that was founded in 1918. It helps produce documentaries, animation, dramas, etc. Everyone I know in Canada has grown up watching content from the NFB, but none more memorable than the animated short films they make. Even if your not Canadian you may have seen some of these.

this one might be new to even my fellow Canucks. It was made as a part of the Canada Vignettes series like the Log Drivers Waltz as a way to depict the Canadian culture across the country. It is about where the small Northern Manitoba mining town got its name. From the fictional character Josiah Flintabetty Flonatin in the dime novel The Sunless City by J.E. Preston. Have you seen this? If you watched it now what do you think?
