Paloma Faith (born Paloma Faith Blomfield) is an English singer, songwriter, and actress. Faith is known for her retro and eccentric style. Her music often blends soul and elements of gospel; she has been consequently compared to Amy Winehouse and Adele, and even Etta James and Billie Holiday, whom she admired and cites as influences for her own work. I love discovering strong, unique, usually female voices. Take a listen to this video, and see if you agree she has a great voice. And, which of the other "Faith" singers or groups do you like?

When Hope (born Hope Russell-Winter), an 18 year old London-based singer/songwriter, sings you hear a wealth of life experience far beyond her years. Accumulating over 5 million hits and 30k subscribers on her Youtube channel, Hope's voice is heard by people all over the world. Her acoustic cover of Dusty Springfield's 'I Only Want To Be With You' was used for the 2016 Dog's Trust #SpecialSomeone ad campaign. She both covers songs in her unique way, and releases her own music, no small feat for a woman so young. Listen to this video, and say if you like her voice. Renowned soprano Charity Sunshine Tillemann-Dick performed a monumental concert last October, after she received transplanted lungs in an operation five years before. It was not her first performance; in fact she performed mere months after receiving the transplant. But this concert was special -- performing alongside her was Esperanza Tufani, a 24-year-old restaurant manager in Ohio. Tufani's mother was the donor for Tillemann-Dick's lungs. She was diagnosed with advanced idiopathic pulmonary hypertension, a rare and potentially fatal condition that affects the heart and lungs, several years after she achieved notoriety in the opera world. After years of deteriorating health and even failed transplants, she finally had the operation that gave her back her career. To perform with the daughter of the woman who gave her back her life meant everything to Charity, Have you heard about this story and which "Charity" singers are you familiar with?

Faith, Hope and Charity may mean something religious to some, but for a small group dedicated fans it is the name of a soul group out of Tampa Florida in the 70's (probably most known as a group signed by Van McCoy (The Hustle) or for their best known song To Each His Own ) or a very short lived British all girl pop group who were active (so to speak) in 1990. When you hear "Faith, Hope and Charity" what comes to mind?
