Stevie Wonder - born Steveland Hardaway Morris Judkins on May 13, 1950 (age 73) is an American singer-songwriter. He was born six weeks premature and has been blind since shortly after birth. He signed with Motown’s Tamla label at age 11. He is one of the best selling and influential music artists of all time. In 1971, Wonder negotiated a new contract with Motown that gave him almost total control over his records and increased his royalty rate. He had a steady stream of hit songs in the 1970's and won multiple awards.

Co-writer Syreeta Wright was married to Stevie Wonder from 1970-1972 and sings background vocals on the song. This song was one of the last to feature Motown's background band the Funk Brothers. Wonder left the Hitsville USA studios in Detroit to record in New York City, playing most of the instruments himself. This was the first time Wonder had writing or co-writing credits for every song on an album. Do you know this song?
