Carole King - Youve Got A Friend, was written for & is about James Taylor & is on her 2nd. album, Tapestry. She said this song is as close to pure inspiration as shes ever experienced. I like the James Taylor version better. They also played this song together as a duo. She also wrote the song, Pleasant Valley Sunday, for the Monkees, which I featured last month as my favourite song by them. She said its about her displeasure with the suburbs. Did you know she was inducted into the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame twice or any of this about her?

Stevie Nicks - Go Your Own Way, performing with Fleetwood Mac in 1997. She is most beautiful here. This is my favourite song by her & the group too, which I will be doing a survey on individually too. Did you know she was inducted into the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame twice?

Tina Turner singing Proud Mary, Live Wildest Dreams, this is a 10 minute video. I chose it cause she really does a fantastic performance in the most stylish dress. I know there are fans of hers here who like this cover she does. But I prefer the original song more. Do you like her version of it?
