Billy Preston (1946-2006) was an American performer, singer, songwriter, keyboardist & was inducted into the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame in 2021. He played with The Beatles, The Plastic Ono Band & Ringo Starr & His All-Starr Band. He was called the fifth Beatle as he joined them on their rooftop performance in January, 1969 & recorded 8 songs for them. The song, Get Back was credited to The Beatles with Billy Preston. He also played on the Abbey Road album as I featured here. He was addicted to cocaine & died of kidney failure in June, 2006.
