Results: A Wardrobe...In Song!

Because I could stand to get a new pair or three--and because a friend recently told me that he took guitar lessons from the leader of the band singing about them in the number included here--I'll start with "Black Slacks." Do you think black clothing looks good on you?

Above my waist I'll put on a "Green Shirt," the significance of which in the lyrics in this song, deriving as it does from an album the singer and writer of it originally wanted to titled Emotional Fascism but later changed it to Armed forces, is probably about some intersection of the personal (including romantic?), and the political. Do any pieces of clothing you own have romantic &/or political significance to you?

Before donning those black slacks, however, even though it's getting chilly where I live as I'm putting these questions together, and they're not long johns, I'll put on my pair of "Polka Dot Undies" (one pair of which I own). Do you ever wear polka-dotted clothing?

I've also owned a pair of "Blue Suede Shoes," branded in conjunction with jeans company Wrangler (with laces colored jeans-stitching orange), and likely nowhere nearly so sharp-looking as the ones extolled in this ditty. Whether or not you'd wear blue footwear, Is suede a type of leather you like your your shoes to be made of?

Christmas is coming, and though "Socks" might be a sorry holiday gift to many kids, I'd want to wear them with suede shoes since I considerate adult who wants to maintain clean footwear and don't want to offend other people with foot odor, I'll want them as part of my ensemble here (I did mention that it's getting colder by me too lately, yes?). Do you wear any shoes with which you don't, though perhaps not always, wear socks?
