Michael Bolton has been in the music world for 50 years. He has written for & with and collaborated with a wide array of talent in the business. Born Feb 26, 1953 He has sold more than 75 million records, and recorded eight top 10 albums. I love his voice and his music style. King of blue eyed soul, I think they call him. He’s one of my many favorites. He recently, over the Holidays, underwent brain surgery to remove a tumor. He reported the surgery was a success and he’s recovering well. He’s still touring and putting out new music but he’s most known for his biggest hits from the 80’s and 90’s. Here are a few of his hits, some Grammy winners. I hope you enjoy!

Michael had many cover songs but this one, he won a Grammy for, in 1992 "When A Man Loves A Woman" written by Percy Sledge in 1968. Percy's widow said she cried when she first heard Michael sing this song and knew her husband would have approved, as well. Of course you've heard this one, yes?

Last but not least, another Grammy winner "How Am I Supposed To Live Without You" The track was originally recorded by Laura Branigan in 1983, charting at number one in both the US and Canadian Adult Contemporary charts. BONUS - "Father's and Daughters" This ballad is the theme song from the Russell Crowe-starring film Fathers & Daughters about the relationship between a father and daughter. The track was released in 2015. Bolton told the story of the song to Billboard magazine: "I was invited to an early private screening of Fathers & Daughters, and found myself moved to tears. As a father of three daughters myself, I was compelled to write and record what I felt was an emotionally honest expression to my own daughters."
