Its about social media harassment. & most of the lyrics are actual quotes & references of DMs the girls & some of their friends have received on Instagram... "You can choose your family" Pity Party really explores how frustrating and confusing it is when your side is not heard, and it can be applied to a heap of different situations... Have you ever been in a situation where you had to choose your family over something else?
