My father always had me laughing when he sang me this song. One night my mother woke me up to see "Shall We Dance" with Astaire & Rogers' it was so magical. "They All Laughed" is a song composed by George Gershwin, with lyrics by Ira Gershwin, written for the 1937 film "Shall We Dance."Extended version! The second chorus of Ira Gershwin's wonderful lyric to "They All Laughed" was cut from "Shall We Dance" in 1937. Here's audio of Ginger Rogers singing the entire song (it occurs when the image freezes) while Fred Astaire scowls. This song has been performed by dozens of singers over the decades. This is a great piece for the piano, my father loved it! "Fascinating Rhythm" is a well-known song written by George Gershwin in 1924, with lyrics by his brother Ira. It was originally introduced in the Broadway musical "Lady Be Good" and has since become a popular jazz standard. The song's appeal lies in its catchy melody and the way it captures a sense of movement and energy, hence the title "Fascinating Rhythm" Here is "Fascinatin' Rhythm" with Tony Bennett & Diana Krall' Have you heard this song before?
