2. The technology available 60 years ago was rudimentary compared to what is available today. Even 10 years after the previous example, one group that stretched it to its limits was 10cc and their song "I'm Not In Love." Can you think of another song that sounds like this?
3. There are so many unique examples from The Beatles, it hardly seems fair to give them another slot in the survey, so I will end with a song I never tire of listening to. Thunderclap Newman was a British rock band that Pete Townshend of the Who and Kit Lambert formed in 1969 in a bid to showcase the talents of John "Speedy" Keen, Jimmy McCulloch, and Andy "Thunderclap" Newman. They had a monster hit with "Something In The Air". Does this song remind you of anything other song?
4. OK, just one more. Musicians are always testing the limits of technology to come up with new sounds. Here is a song that is built around one of those new sounds. 1964's The Crying Game, by Dave Berry and The Cruisers. Does this guitar work make it sound unique?
