It wouldn't be "That 70s Show" if the show didn't employ some true 70s music for the title sequence, and for seven of the shows eight seasons, Cheap Trick took on the responsibility of bringing some authenticity to the series with the theme song, "In the Street". The song was originally performed by the 1970s rock band Big Start. Before Cheap Trick recorded their own cover of the track, Todd Griffin sang it for the show's inaugural season.
