This TV show was based out of Cicely Alaska. It had a cast of eccentric characters that were all likeable in their own way, I guess.... This TV series was called Northern Exposure (1990-1995).

(1 only) Dr. Joel Fleischman played by Rob Morrow. He plays a recently graduated physician who is sent to practice in Anchorage, Alaska, for several years to repay the state of Alaska for underwriting his medical education. Much to his chagrin, he is assigned to the much smaller and remote town of Cicely
