I would bet all of us here remember 9/11. And most of us have either watched the TV sitcom Frasier (or at least have heard about it). One of the creators of Frasier and executive director of the show, David Angell and his wife were on board American Airlines Flight 11, the plane the hijackers took over and crashed into the North Tower of the World Trade Center at 8:46 a.m. All 92 people on board were killed, including Angell and his wife. Do you remember hearing anything about the connection to the TV show Frasier when this tragedy happened?

The two-part episode of Frasier to air after the attacks, "Don Juan in Hell" airing on September 25, 2001, ended with the memorial tribute, "In loving memory of our friends Lynn and David Angell". Do you feel remembering their friend this way was touching?

This wasn't the only way they honored Angell. Three years after the 9/11 attacks, the finale of "Frasier," titled "Goodnight, Seattle," included the birth of a son to characters Niles Crane and Daphne Moon-Crane. The fictional child, a son, was named "David" in honor of Angell. Do you recall this tribute to their producer?

In 1997, over four years before 9/11, Frasier aired an episode called "Odd Man Out", where a woman on Frasier's answering machine flies in on American Airlines Flight 11. Four and a half years later, Angell and his wife Lynn were killed on that exact same flight, in the terrorist attacks. This has to be one of the eeriest foreshadowing of any TV show in history. Do you find this sort of trivia interesting?
