If something like the technology in Severance existed in real life would you want to use it for certain situations? If you haven't seen the show, basically some technology separates the mind of an individual so that their memories of life at work and off work are totally separate. The same person basically has 2 different personalities in and out of work. This tech in the show might also have other applications such as the options below. Yes, to avoid the pain of childbirth

For most shows i am able to figure out what is going on pretty quickly. Maybe not everything like the overall message, but most plot points. This show Severance and maybe a couple others i have watched have been this way. Are you like me and make an effort to figure out what is going on before it is revealed, or do you sit back, enjoy and just like to be more surprised in the end? I like to figure it out
