American Idol debuted last Wednesday for its final season. Whether you love it or hate it--or never watched it--few would argue that it has been responsible for introducing some of today's biggest names in music and film. Everyone is familiar with the names of Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood, Jennifer Hudson and Chris Daughtry. Everyone knows who Simon Cowell is. And almost everyone has at one time or another tuned in just to see the bad auditions.
