October is my least favorite month for a variety of reasons, one of which is that I have a birthday in it. People react in different ways to birthdays and some enjoy someone else's birthday more than their own. I fall into the latter category. Maybe that is why I enjoyed these clips. Did you enjoy them?

We regularly get surveys about movies we may or may not watch. I still remember the days when hotel rooms had a box on the top of the TV for Pay-Per-View movies (but I never used this service). My wife and I didn't go out much when we had kids. Our entertainment was at home. We worked long hours and, coming home to something like this, gave us the energy to get up the next day and do it all over again. It used to be mainly the dads who benefited from this, while mom organized things at home and missed out on it. Did you ever get a homecoming reception like this?

My son had two cats in his house until recently. My dog loved one of them but not the other one. When my son told me one of them had died I had my hopes dashed when I found that Charlie (the boss cat) was the survivor. These clips are about cats like Charlie. I feel sorry for the dogs. Do you?
