Cowlicks are places on your head where hair grows in a circular formation of whorls or swirls. They can stand up, or lie at a angle opposite to the direction of the rest of the hair. They are most often on the crown, but can form on the front or back of the head. They are the result of a natural hair growth pattern, and can't be prevented or removed.
