My first shave was at the hands of my stepfather, who, being tired of looking at my scraggly mug, led me into the bathroom, .applied lather to my face, moistened a safety razor, applied it to my face, and viola!, out of the restroom walked, for his first time, a clean-shaven Rake. Does your first shaving experience at all resemble mine?

I may have resented my stepdad's action at that time, but, in retrospect, I'm grateful for the introduction to shaving he gave me, as I now very much prefer my face being shaved clean. Are you at all grateful for shaving (be it your own or others')? Yes
