Yep. Sugar is a pretty nifty little carbohydrate. It makes some foods more palatable. It's helpful as a food preservative. It lasts indefinitely if stored properly. It helps the medicine go down. And as many a kid can testify, in a pinch, it's pretty handy for school pyramid project. Have you ever built anything using sugar cubes?
