The most-storied, peculiar culinary craving--at least from what I recall of watching 1960's and '70's TV situation comedies--may be pickles and ice cream. Did you ever crave that food combination while you were pregnant?
Yes (and I may comment on the flavors of pickles and ice cream I craved while my child[ren] was/were gestating)

The foregoing questions were inspired by my recently having hit upon what has become one of my favorite snack combinations: herring & onions pickled in wine sauce with some kimchi, sometimes with sauerkraut as well. While noshing on all that recently, it dawned on me that this food combination might be something a pregnant woman crave. Does my snack combo seem like that to you as well? '
