Spinach salads with tofu in it used to be a favourite on a local restaurant's menu, but too much of this good thing can cause serious problems. It turns out that spinach contains oxalic acid which binds with calcium in tofu and makes it indigestible for our stomach, and could form kidney stones. Cooking the spinach helps somewhat, but even raw, only excessive amounts will actually be a problem. Do you ever eat spinach with tofu?

Peanuts and other nuts are often served with beer. While this food combination is popular, you should know that roasted nuts are high in salt and beer has diuretic properties that can cause dehydration. Putting the two together makes it even worse as the salt makes you thirsty, which can lead to you drinking more beer, which can then make you even more dehydrated. If you absolutely have to have a beer with your roasted nuts, make sure you drink plenty of water in between or after your meal. Do you enjoy your beer with roasted nuts?

Most breakfast cereals are fortified with vitamins and minerals that are great for your health. Unfortunately, they're not so good when they're eaten with orange juice. Juices such as orange juice contain high amounts of sugar, particularly those that contain added sugar. Combined with sugary cereal, this meal can cause a blood sugar spike that may lead to a crash in energy levels about an hour later. Do you start off your cereal breakfast with a glass of orange juice?
