This poll may be the first installment of an occasional survey, depending on what chain restaurant special offerings tempt my taste buds...and my succumbing to said temptations.

My family used to call the one in our town a root beer stand. Have you ever eaten at an A & W restaurant?

Enjoy A & W root beer though I do, my latest visit to the one closest to me (currently located in a gas station also selling sporting goods and other items beyond the scope of an ordinary convenience store) was for this poll's titular treat: the recently-introduced strawberry watermelon cream freeze. Which of its constituent elements do or would you you enjoy on their own?
Strawberries (there appeared to be seeds remaining in the cup after I'd finished it, so I'm assuming the presence of real berries in it)

My initial impression of the strawberry watermelon cream freeze--I won't be capitalizing it again here!--is that its mouthful of name and slew of elements add up to a tasty beverage/dessert. But it's a curious one. The curiosity comes from the dual presence of strawberry and watermelon. Like a culinary lenticular picture, if I thought about the cream freeze one way while it was in my mouth, I tasted the berry. If I thought about the melon instead, I tasted that but not the berry. Never do I recall tasting both fruits simultaneously. Be it with something sweet or savory, have you ever experienced a similar phenomenon with anything you've eaten or drank?

While composing this poll it dawned on me that the Starry soda's citrus flavors may have had a mitigating or confusing effect on the cream freeze's "starring" fruits' presence in the cream freeze. Do you think that's possible?
Sure, that seems at least likely as not.

My guess is that the strawberry watermelon cream freeze will be available only for as limited time. I don't make a habit of buying that kind of drink even on a weekly basis, but I may want to revisit this confection once more t see if I've the same reaction as I did the first time I drank it. Would you do that, too?
Yes, I'd have at least one more (at a minimum)

For another item I might, but I'd not try a 'berry 'melon c. freeze a first time, much less give it another go.
