Danish Rødgrød Med Fløde - Red Berry Porridge w. Cream -the traditional Danish dessert, which is a berry porridge served with cold, fresh cream! Ingredients for 3-4 persons: 400 grams / 14 oz. berries (fresh or frozen) - e.g. a mix of raspberries, strawberries, blackcurrrants etc. 80 grams / 5 oz. sugar 150 ml / 2/3 cup water 1 tsp. vanilla sugar 1 tsp. corn startch Plenty of full fat cream (e.g. 38%) for serving. Cook the porridge for 10 - 15 minutes and add the corn starch thereafter. Cook for another couple of minutes at low heat before leaving to cool down. In Canda we call this Bumbleberry. Have ever made a fruit compote like this?
