Crickets, mealworms, and grasshoppers are being incorporated into sausages, burgers, and bean dishes—not as novelty snacks, but as part of research into sustainable protein sources. While over 2 billion people already eat insects worldwide, Western countries have been slow to adopt them, despite their high protein and nutrient content and much lower environmental impact compared to traditional livestock.
