Known as the "£3 million rose", the Juliet Rose is one of the most beautiful roses with its soft apricot-hued petals and heavenly scent. You can buy them for much less than $5 million (the equivalent of £3 million), but they are called this because that's how much it cost renowned rose breeder David Austin to develop the hybrid over a fifteen-year period. The rose made its debut at the Chelsea flower show in 2006, earning the name for the most expensive rose ever cultivated. The most expensive rose is the 'Rainbow Rose' which is a multicoloured species of rose. A dozen rainbow roses will cost you about $480 as a lone polychromatic rose costs around $40.
