It occurred to me this week that in my lifetime I have seen MANY specialists. It made me wonder how typical that is. In fact, I have been treated by so many physicians, this topic requires a series of surveys.

When I grew up eons ago, children didn't go to pediatricians, so my first doctor was the good old general practitioner, now referred to as a family medicine specialist. Have you been treated by a GP or family doc?
