The average age for people to be diagnosed with Parkinson's is their mid 60's however, some, like actor Michael J. Fox, are diagnosed before their 50's. This is called early-onset Parkinson's Disease. Did you know this?

Most people associate Parkinson's with tremors or balance issues, however, there are many other symptoms such as: hallucinations, sleep disorders, fatigue, depression and anxiety, stiffness, difficulty speaking or speaking very softly, a blank facial expression, very small handwriting, stooping or hunching over, moving very slowly, loss of sense of smell, dementia, and urinary problems. Were you aware of these symptoms?

Currently, there is no cure for Parkinson's Disease. The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research is trying to find the cause and hopefully a cure for this terrible disease.
