As I have gotten older, I have become aware of the obstacles and perks afforded to senior citizens in the United States. Since I don't know what is available to citizens in Canada, I have included N/A options.

I have been forced to use a walker or cane until I get my knee surgery next month. This has presented many problems. The American Disabilities Act states that all public buildings must have handicapped entrances. A new Family Dollar store was built last year in my town. There are two sets of doors to enter. It is very difficult to hold the doors open while maneuvering a walker. Do you think all businesses should have automatic doors or a button to push to open doors?
