Results: A Kind NYPD Police Officer

When NYC Police Officer Lawrence DePrimo came upon a homeless man on a frigid night with no shoes on his bare feet, the officer's heart went out to the destitute man. Officer DePrimo purchased some all-weather boots for the man along with a pair of warm winter socks, spending $75 of his own money to help this total stranger. He then returned to the homeless man with his purchase and helped the man put the brand new socks and boots on his feet. The heartwarming moment was caught on camera by Jennifer Foster, of Florence, AZ, who was visiting Times Square with her husband on the cold November day. When asked by the homeless man for some change, she approached with a handful of money. Before she reached the man, however, Officer DePrimo stepped up behind the man and told him, “I have these size 12 boots for you, they're all-weather. Let's put them on and take care of you.”
